3rd Connected Learning Symposium: Dialogues on students' knowledge on/for social justice

Are you a student or recent alumni at Erasmus University, concerned about social justice? Did you learn about or produce a course assignment, project, or thesis related to a certain aspect of social inequalities? Present your already-produced coursework, project, or thesis to other students, local stakeholders, and organizations during the 3rd Connected Learning symposium! 📅 When? Saturday 8 June 2024, from 13:00 to 17:00 hrs (Drinks/borrel starting at 17:00) 📍 Where? The Machinist (Willem Buytewechstraat 45, Rotterdam) Learning for Equality in Rotterdam and Vital Cities and Citizens invite you to participate in this engaging event. Share the work you produced during your studies, meet like-minded students and practitioners, and learn from each other. Students and alumni can present assignments and theses that were produced individually or in groups. Presenters will receive a certificate for their participation in the event. Suggested Topics (only as inspiration, not exclusive!) Did you produce/are you producing coursework or a thesis about... • Housing • Migration • Gender inequalities • Racial/ethnic inequalities • Poverty • Activism • Social policies and their effects on different social groups • Gentrification • Differentiated access to services and resources • Representation • War and conflict • Or other related issues? Possible assignments to present could be (but are not limited to): • An essay you wrote for a course • The slides of a presentation you gave in class • A more hands-on project • Your thesis (or your thesis in process: thesis draft or proposal) • Your internship experience No need to write anything new! Individual and group work are both welcome!
